What does "reduce" mean?
It means to decrease the damage received. For example, when 3 damage is received and you are told to "reduce it by 1," that damage becomes 2.
When is the effect "When one of your EX Resources is exiled from the game" resolved?
If you use an EX Resource to pay the cost when playing a Unit, Pilot, or Base, resolve this effect at the same time effects such as 【Deploy】 and 【When Paired】 on that card resolve. If you use an EX Resource to pay the cost when playing a Command or activating an 【Activate･Main】 effect or similar, resolve this effect after the resolution of that card's effect.
If I have three EX Resources in play, how many EX Resources can I place with this 【Deploy】 effect?
You can place two, since the upper limit for EX Resources is five.
If there are multiple copies of this Unit in play, can each of those copies activate its effect during the same turn?
Yes. Each of them can activate its effect one time.
